Policies

Linda May is delighted to customize your event to suit your tastes and budget. The following policies allow for adjustments, depending on the location, time frame and requirements of each individual event.

Delivery is available. A fee is applicable, depending on distance of location, size of delivery, and time needed; we are pleased to give you a quote. If you are picking up the items yourself on Friday, they must be returned to us on the following Monday. If you wish us to do the set-up and take-down, we can give you an estimate of the cost.

There is an 8% damage waiver on all lost, broken or damaged rental items. All tableware must be scraped and rinsed, and tables and chairs wiped clean. All boxes that rentals come in must be returned undamaged. Cost of missing or damaged items will be added to your bill; a credit card number is necessary to secure this, and the approximate costs are spelled out on your rental agreement.

We accept cash, debit, or cheques; credit cards are subject to a 3% processing fee. A 25% deposit secures our services, with the balance due before pick-up or delivery. The deposit is non-refundable. We ask that you confirm the final number of guests one week prior to the event. You will be billed based on this number.

Rental prices quoted do not include taxes.
Labour and delivery fees are subject to GST only.

If there are changes on site that cause us to incur extra labour charges, we will add the cost to your bill.

We have the equipment for most needs, but if your event requires something additional, we will gladly help you source and arrange for it, but you will need to pay the supplier separately.
